Leek and Potato Soup

Wow! Great responses to my Potato Gratin post – thanks so much to all my new FFwD friends for their lovely comments about my photos and general encouragement! As I mentioned last week, we went away for the weekend and ended up at a party until 3 a.m. (I’m long passed my days when I could recover from that easily) and seem to have compromised my immune system again – I’ve been battling a terrible cold all week! So I’ve been meaning to visit all your sites and leave some comment love, but I’ve honestly been vegging on the couch in front of the TV or else in bed this week.

But I always crave soup more than anything when I’m sick. I even made chicken noodle soup from scratch the other night, which would have made another great post, but I was too lethargic to haul out my camera. Anyway, I decided to try to kick this cold with some Leek & Potato action as well!
