I don’t really know what else to say about this except it was a lovely, pleasant surprise! Jon loves cantaloupe, but I’m generally not a fan. If it’s perfectly ripe and sweet however, I can be persuaded.

This soup was a delicious, especially with the tiny, perfect Ontario strawberries that are currently in season! I swapped out the white wine for a rosy pink one – this Niagara region is becoming one of my favourites. It’s especially lovely when it’s icy cold and you’re sitting on a sun-drenched patio. Actually, so is this soup!
